eorge Minchev's Project "Fragment of Something Bigger" participated and won the first prize in the open competition of the Varna Municipality "CONTEMPORARY PLASTICS IN URBAN ENVIRONMENT BY LOCAL POSITIONS". As a result of his winning participation in the competition, the project will be realized and exhibited in the "Vl.Varnenchik "in front of the mayor’s building of the "Vl. Varnenchik "in the city of Varna. In plastic terms, the work of George Minchev, "Fragment of Something Bigger - Oval",  is based on a comparison of two opposing structures – the cube and sphere.
For the construction of the sculptural composition "Fragment of Something Bigger", it is envisaged to use a monolithic marble block. The projected dimensions in the project are: 300/170/220.

Based on their previous visual and emotional experience, but not only, people gather a collection of knowledge that they use in their everyday life without thinking - "by default." When we look at simple geometric figures, such as a cube or a sphere, for us only one point is sufficient to decide exactly what we see. In such cases, we do not need to look at the object from another angle. In such situations, and as a result of the already accumulated visual experience, what forms in our minds is the idea of ​​a cube or a sphere. This property of human perception unlocks our ability to build in our minds without needing any special training. The process happens rapidly, we do not make special efforts, we do not spend time. This mental construction happens instantly, "by default". Because of this quality in the mechanics of human perception, spatial forms are easily identified. They become recognizable from the outset, they are communicative by definition.
