CV Georgi Minchev,

 Georgi Minchev     Work in the field of monumental sculpture, and has more than 15 solo exhibitions and several awards to his credit. Working with different materials, stone, wood, metal, creating large-sized sculptures. Dotsent Minchev George is a professor in the Department of Sculpture and theoretical disciplines of Veliko Turnovo Universitat St. St. Cyril and Methodius.

   For his creative work has received the following awards                                                       .

2025 - Laureate of the National Sculpture Award named after Academician Ivan Lazarov

2024 - Nomination for the National Sculpture Award named after Academician Ivan Lazarov

2020 First prize in an international competition for 50 Main Street in White Plains, NY, sculpture commission

2017 First prize in the competition "Construction of modern plastics in the urban spaces of Varna by lot"

2014 Silver medal in The 4th China • Wuhu Liu Kaiqu         Award International Sculpture Exhibition

2014  Gold medal in the the 2nd Lih -Pao International Sculpture Biennial Awards 2013-2014, Taiwan

2011 National Exhibition Award Alianz Bulgaria 2010 Autumn Salon Veliko Tarnovo - nomination

2011 Third prize in the IX International Symposium of Sculpture in Marble - Fines – Spain

2004 Win the national competition in  with the "infinite formats for participation in the presentation" Global and man. "

2003 win the national competition for a monument of Vasil Levski in the town of Kardzhali / team / - the project was realized in October 2004
